    The Parent Portal

    Parents and guardians of C. A. JOHNSON students are encouraged to come by the school during the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00pm to pick up their password for access to the parent portal. This powerful communication tool allows parents to keep track of their child's academic progress and attendance online.

    You must come to the school to verify your information with a picture ID. Check-in at the front desk.

    After-School Tutoring Available!

    C.A. Johnson will offer FREE After-School Tutoring on Tuesday thru Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.  Tutoring will be offered in various subjects and is open to anyone wishing to attend.  We encourage students to take advantage of this great, free service to help them be as successful as possible this year.

    Accelerated Reader:  AR Book Finder and Accelerated Reader Quizzes

    May Tips:    Check for Understanding Strategies." While we are aware that many of the strategies listed are strategies you use regularly to help ensure students' understanding of the content related to your discipline, the list does contain others that might be effective in your classroom as well, including those that involve the use of objects such as paper plates and bubble wrap, and some kinesthestic activity.  In addition, several of the strategies listed might be helpful as you work to prepare students for upcoming tests, EOC Exams, etc. 


    Jewel Walston!

    Jewel Walston, came in first place in 1A State Track and Field Meet with a discus throw of 107 feet.  She was crowned the State Champion for Girls in 1A Discus Throw. She also came in fifth in the Shot Put.    Ms. Walston is now the Region, Upperstate, and State champion.  Way to Go!

    WLTX Player of the Year

    C.A Johnson Senior Guard, Kaitlin Pickens

    On last night, Kaitlin Pickens, along with 29 other WLTX Players of the Week were honored at the News 19 Player of the Week Banquet.  Kaitlin, a senior guard who has committed to play basketball next year at Coker College was chosen as the 2016 WLTX News 19 Player of the Year.  The award is accompanied by a $1000.00 scholarship award and epitomizes those students’ athletes who excel on and off the playing fields.  Please congratulate your very own, Kaitlin Pickens on all of her accomplishments.
