CHARLES MALLORY AND TYE JACKSON
MR. AND MISS C.A. JOHNSON
The Mr. and Miss C.A. Johnson pageant was a gala event. Over two hundred parents and friends attended to support their favorite contestants. Contestants did a moving opening number dressed in "service uniforms" to highlight their theme, "Lead The Way, Save The Day, Service Starts At Home".

SOCIAL WORK CORNER
This school year has gotten off to a great start! Did you know that students who attend school regularly are more likely to graduate and find good jobs? In fact, a high school graduate makes, on average, a million dollars more than a dropout over a lifetime. Your education is like money in the bank!
Tips to make the most of your education:
· Attend all classes, every day, ON TIME.
· Make time to meet with teachers when you don’t understand the material.
· When you must miss school, be sure to bring in excuses within 48 hour after you return and get any missed work from your teachers.
· If you miss more than 8 days in a yearlong course or 4 days in a semester course, you may lose credit! There MAY be options for credit recovery, but it is easier to get it done during designated class times.
Remember students, at C. A. Johnson, Attendance Matters!
